Researcher In Residence Supports Glencoe Boat Club

Local Volunteer Belle Jessop of Artisan Cafe in Tyndrum has begun a Researcher in Residence post with us to help document Glencoe Boat Club history. As a globally iconic location, this is of immense value to many far and wide as well as our own members and we are grateful!

Belle would find it really helpful to hold short interviews with members; long standing members as well as new members, and discuss club history; the history of sailing and rowing in Scotland; and local viewpoints about why a Boat Club is important to our community.

Tender Care – Autumn 2024

We are ensuring great tender care this autumn, 2024!

We need to do a full stock take of all tenders stored at the club.

Would members please mark their boats name on their tender stored at the club by 30 September.

We currently have 22 tenders at the club, however only 14 boats. With members cooperation, we shall have this all ship shape by end September ready for autumn winter storage to get under way!

Non marked  tenders by end September ,will then be removed and disposed of.

If you are not able to access the club to resolve  marking your tender, please notify with the details,  who will liaise with locally based members to mark it for you.

THANK YOU!  Club life is a team sport.
