Club spirit is flowing! Spring 2024, celebrated the 2nd birthday of Corrag, our magnificent skiff. Handcrafted with over 500 man hours, by a member, Corrag has become an asset to our club. She brings joy and wellbeing to many at least twice a week.
It was a double birthday celebration also, with member Donny being spoiled by fellow members after a weekly row out across the loch.
Lovely to see members enjoying the newly refreshed facilities at the club house, as well as the joy of social connection through celebration, together at Glencoe Boat Club.
If you are interested in trying skiffing you can contact us here. Available to existing and new members, we are a friendly, informal team of people of all ages. We gather regularly and row out across the loch in a group of five on rotation, enjoying the mountains of Glencoe and waters of Loch Leven from a different perspective! It’s rhythmic, it’s calming and it’s inspirational ,watching the marine life and bird life out on the open water.
And if you have any dodgy knees…. you are not alone, it won’t stop you. There is always a helping hand to get in and out of the boat…Club spirit is always flowing!
