Glencoe Boat Club is throwing open its doors to everyone to try something new. Open to non members, visitors and members, 13th and 14th July 2024. 10am – 4pm each day.

Looking for a new way to get outdoors and get active? Trying to find something you can enjoy together as a family? Want some fun and adventure? Want to discover the magic of Glencoe from a different perspective… on the loch?! …
If your answers are yes, and you are in or near Glencoe this July, we are inviting you, your friends, and your family to come and try sailing, rowing, kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing or wild swimming for free.
Whether you’re completely new to any of these sport ,or looking to get back on the water, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go.
“There is lots of fun to be had out on the water this summer and our Discover Sailing event is a great way for people to come a long and literally dip their toes in the water”, commented Gordon MacIntyre, Commodore at Glencoe Boat Club.
“Everyone is invited to come down and have a go and see what the Glencoe Boat Club has to offer. Who knows, you might just get hooked!”
We will have the BBQ fired up and be ready to welcome you.
RYA Scotland Discover Sailing, is a series of nationwide events taking place throughout Scotland.
Thousands of people will be taking part in the sailing, rowing, paddling or fishing activities at open days and taster sessions taking place at sailing clubs and centres across the country.
Activities on the water or by the water, can be as physical or as relaxing as you want to make it, you can sail with others or on your own, do it competitively or potter about and just enjoy the gentle escape of being outside in the elements.
We will have a rep from RYA Scotland throughout the event to help and give visitors information.
