Our Trustees

Our Trustees are legally responsible for the governance, compliance and sustainability of the charity. Theses are non remunerated roles. Our Trustees set the vision for the club and ensure consultation on that vision with members, as well as ensure that the governance, legal and cash flow compliance requirements of the charity are met. They ensure the AGM is held annually and that management committee role holders are duly elected, and uphold their duties.

Our Management Committee

Our management committee members are volunteers  from within our club membership, who steward the operational and events aspects of our club life. They are sought and relied upon for their relevant skills and experience to fulfill each committee roll, and are elected by our members.

Protecting the sanctuary from the daily pressures of life that our club is for so many, committee members  welcome feedback, suggestions and will respond to any questions as swiftly as possible.

Committee members must be members of Glencoe Boat Club.

Our Researcher in Residence

We were delighted to be approached by a volunteer from a local family business, who has offered to help research and electronically document the history of our club. Belle Jessup, of Artisan Cafe, Tyndrum, became our Researcher in Residence summer 2024. Belle, will meet with members old and new, at club social events and upon request, to help us capture our valuable history, and share our stories for future generations to treasure!

Please email if you would be happy to be interviewed by Belle for club promotions and archives.
